We found a fisherman's jumper fit for fishing & everyday use.

Warmth. Durability. Temperature regulation outdoors.

Chosen for year-round warmth by NZ shepherds for 140 years

Our chosen knitting mill is the oldest in New Zealand. The wool is 100% premium long-strand from Romney-marsh sheep (28 micron). Much hardier than merino, yet softer than other medium-coarse fibres. The perfect balance of comfort & durability.

Made in New Zealand. Made to last.

Long-strand wool doesn't run so easily when snagged on thorns, and holds its shape.

The cornerstone of the wardrobe. Our returns rate is ridiculously low - of 40 sold over Christmas, only one was returned. Many say they wear theirs everyday.

Popular questions

What is the fit like?

The fit is relaxed, which makes them very comfortable and allows for easy layering underneath.

We'll be in touch after your order to confirm your weight and height to make sure you get the right size.

Feel free to email reuben.manicom@gmail.com before you order.

Are they cold wash only?

Fantastically, they don't need much washing due to being anti-microbial by nature. Just hang them up in the wind and give em' a shake down if dirty. If you need to wash yours, dunk it in the sink, with warm or cold water. A wool wash in the washing machine may work but is best avoided as it can cause stretching. Regular hot machine washes can cause the jumper to shrink significantly.

How thick are the jumpers?

Medium-weight - so a luxurious layer in winter to wear over a warm base layer and under a jacket.

They're useful year-round, which saves you from owning lots of jumpers for different seasons. The medium-weight also makes them more convenient to wrap around your waist if you work up a sweat outdoors.

Where are they made?

The yarn is from the oldest producer in New Zealand, which is based near Wellington. The knitting mill is near Palmerston North in New Zealand. The wool is from New Zealand farms, where sheep never go indoors.

Who are you?

We're a small business based in Cornwall, with a friendship with the producer in New Zealand that allows us to get these to you.
